Throughout all phases of manufacturing and plating there is quality documentation: material certifications, S.P.C. printouts, x-ray fluorescent, solderability, porosity, adhesion test data, to name just a few.

In-process manufacturing controls assure conformity to X Bar & R charts, control plans and FEMAS.
These controls carry over to our plating department, providing process-controlled plating second to none.
Plating thicknesses are measured with an X-ray fluoroscope.
Laboratory analyses of plating baths are also performed to assure proper bath composition.
Final inspection is performed on a lot-by-lot basis, and full S.P.C. documentation can be provided.
Parts can also be cross-sectioned, analyzed and documented by 800x microphotography.
There is complete traceability by lot, batch, and shipment, from incoming raw material inspection to shipping documentation.
Autoswage is dock-to-stock certified for most volume customers.

Our proprietary cold form rolling manufacturing techniques, automatic die swaging and die pin rolling, are more than unique, scrap-free fabrication processes, they are also lead-free!

In traditional manufacturing processes, such as screw machine, material is cut away so lead is required in the brass to make for easier turning. The lead allows the cutting tool to run more smoothly and the chips to form better - better for the process, but not better for you, the customer. Because Autoswage's processes are scrap-free and do not cut or involve turning, we have eliminated altogether the need for lead.
