Quality Documentation & Assurance

Throughout all phases of manufacturing and plating there is quality documentation such as material certifications, S.P.C. printouts, x-ray fluorescent, solderability, porosity, and adhesion test data, to name just a few.

Quality assurance second-to-none:

  • In-process manufacturing controls assure conformity to X Bar & R charts, control plans and FEMAS
  • Process-controlled plating
  • Plating thicknesses measured with X-ray fluoroscope
  • Laboratory analyses of plating baths performed to assure proper bath composition
  • Final inspection performed on lot-by-lot basis, full S.P.C. documentation can be provided
  • Parts can also be cross-sectioned, analyzed and documented by 800x microphotography
  • Complete Traceability by lot, batch, and shipment, from incoming raw material inspection to shipping documentation
  • Dock-to-stock certified for most volume customers

RoH Compliant, Environmentally-Friendly

Autoswage's cold rolling and cold heading manufacturing processes are more than scrap-free fabrication methods that save you money; they are also lead-free!

Unlike traditional manufacturing processes, such as screw machine, where lead is required in the brass for easier turning as material is cut away, our processes do not require lead because metal is rolled and formed not turned and cut away. The need for lead has been eliminated altogether, making our processes both environmentally-friendly and cost saving!
