We Do What Others Can't

Sometimes you need a tighter diameter for your parts than manufacturing can hold. Every manufacturing process has its limitations so we have developed a specialized process of plating to hold diameters to less than 0.0001 of an inch! Now you can get virtually any diameter you require without sacrificing quality or cost savings.

Strict Control from Raw Material to Packaging: Your Specifications Preserved

As a single-source provider, we take our responsibilities very seriously. Pre-plate specifications are provided on drawings at our production machines to insure that the finishing process will keep your part within the required specifications. From raw material to packaging, we strictly control these specifications.

Our cleaning, super fine finishing, and plating use a variety of barrel and vibratory equipment for both non-precious and precious metal finishes. Various grinding media and burnishing procedures are used for surface cleaning, surface preparation and for enhancing surface qualities. Oblique and horizontal barrels, as well as vibratory equipment, are available to insure that straightness, surface finishes, and close tolerances are preserved.

Parts are plated in barrels that range in size from 12" x 24" to as small as 2" x 4". These barrels are lightly loaded to keep the parts from being bent. Plating bath controls, precision micro screens, special "button" contacts, as well as danglers and vibratory units as small as 8" in diameter, combine to provide the quality necessary to plate to specifications and avoid "dog bone" effects on even the smallest pins.

We have an XRF (X-Ray Fluoroscope machine) to measure plating thickness. This machine puts out statistical data that is sent with each shipment to verify all compositions and thicknesses. We also maintain compositions at the molecular level.
